Quick lime hydration is an exothermic chemical reaction.
Normally unwanted and none controllable high generated heat , vapor and dust make many safety, environmental and process issues.
Therefore using hydrated lime is mostly recommended. Hydration process has two main sequences:
۱ – Mixing water and lime: according to lime molecular mass, required water for this process is around 30% of fed lime but practically a lot of water will be wasted as vapor and actual required water will be around 50% of fed lime.
